Wee Memories Challenge #19

This card was a blast to make! It took me a lot longer than I had imagined! My friend Jenn sent me the adorable candy stamp and sentiment! I stamped the candies, colored them, and then used the glossy accents to make them shine! They almost look good enough to eat! ;) I made the barrel from some corrugated cardboard, then covered it with my washi tape from Torendi. I just can't get enough of the tape, its my new staple. This challenge (Wee Memories #19) was to use sweets....and ribbon! For the stripes on the barrel, I used brown ribbon and added some tiny brads. I used my Tim Holtz brick stamp (AGAIN!!!) for the yellow background! I think it came together nicely! Hop on over to the challenge and check out all the fabulous projects! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! :)

OTWC #21 Card #3

OTWC #21 Card #2

OTWC #21

I had been debating on doing this challenge (Off the Wall Craftiness #21), but once I got started, I couldn't stop! :) The paper I used is a variety of different brands! I broke into my EAD Designs rubons and used those for my sentiments! I just cant get enough of my brick stamp by Tim Holtz! Its been so nice to have the day off (I did work almost three hours)! I have been crafting away for hours...now I just need to get motivated to post my stuff for sale. Just seems like a lot of work! ;) Happy Thursday ya'll~

EAD Color Challenge-August

I had so much fun doing this challenge (EAD Designs Color Challenge)! The color combo was so unique and I had no idea how I was going to pull it off! For this card I used my new Ultimate Grunge stamps by Tim Holtz, Earth Love chipboard by Cosmo Cricket, Washi Tape from Torendi, and the cloud paper that I bought from CTMH. I am off for two days and I cant wait to craft away! Hope you all are enjoying your week and thanks for visiting my blog!

Love My Tapes Challenge

I feel like its been awhile since I have entered a challenge. The Love My Tapes challenge was to create a project using the above picture for inspiration. As soon as I saw the patterns on the fabric, I knew I had to use the green paper I bought from Torendi! I have had these blue flowers for so long...so I am sure they are happy to finally be used! Go check out their blog here and see what you can create!

Wee Memories Challenge #18

Wee Memories Challenge #18
was to use buttons, brads, or bling! I chose bling! One of my best friends is having her baby shower tomorrow for her 2nd child! One girl, and now a boy! I am so excited for her, and I couldn't pass up making a card for the shower!

Wee Memories Challenge #17

Of course I waited until the last minute for this challenge (the weekdays seem to fly by these days)! Wee Memories Challenge #17 was to incorperate butterflies into your project. I came across this fun birdcage paper pack at Joanns the other day and I had to have it! I used a few different techniques on this card that I have seen other people do (ribbon & circles). I think that its always fun to see if you can recreate other's little pieces of creativity, but add your own twist on it! Enjoy!

Operation Write Home

I bought this super cute stamp set over the weekend at a craft garage sale! I couldn't wait to use it! I know Christmas is a ways off, but I decided to make some Holiday cards for a great cause! Operation Write Home is an awesome cause that sends handmade cards to our troops overseas, so they can write home to their families and loved ones. I really admire how brave our soldiers are and wanted to give back to them. Please check out their blog here, for more information on how you can help!

OTWC #19

Happy Saturday to everyone! I started my day with a trip to a massive craft garage sale. I got some really good deals and I can't wait to start using some of the fun stuff I bought! But why stop there! I headed to Michaels and Joanns too! So now that I am relaxing, I thought I would finish this card that I started yesterday! I can't believe it.....Another challenge with PINK! :) This Off The Wall Craftiness Challenge #19 was to use the above colors, pink, yellow, and green. I decided to use my new set of Tim Holtz stamps (Ultimate Grunge) that I bought from Scrap Lovers online. I absolutely love the way that the brick background turned out! I also stamped the yellow background too! Have a great weekend!

Wee Memories Challenge #16

Wee Memories Challenge #16 was to incorporate chipboard into a project. I was so excited when this challenge was announced, because that meant I got to break out my new Joy Ride paper and chipboard that I bought at Torendi. I have to admit, I really wanted to hoard it, because it is so adorable, but I can always buy more, right! I added some fun Washi tape and used Tim Holtz distressed ink to give the card a more vintage feel. I hope you like it! Thanks for visiting my blog!
